Video game adaptions always stink unless the author is truly unafraid to make Link his own character and not just write down what happens in the game; you have to really stress the plot, add to it, have it remain in the background the whole time that everything else is going, on you have to...

It's just too much, you have to be nearing expertise to pull this off, and we're all amteurs. I suggest waiting until you have some more skill, or not writing the fic at all, which would be much smarter.

It's a good story even though it is so short. If this were actual facts of the game I would flip. It is nice that he created his own story. We do that all the time.
