The Legend of Zelda: Terror of the Seas
By Miss Fearsome PirateMore Info / Reviews
Chapter 1: Daphnes and Rumilla
This is but one of the legends of which the people speak.
Long ago, in a far away kingdom, lived a noble king and his lady. The king and queen were blessed with the birth of a child, a boy. They called him Daphnes Nohanson Hyrule, after his great grandfather, Daphnes Thalimue Hyrule. The child grew strong in mind and in body. He came to understand the ways of the kingdom and its people. He spent hours studying the laws of this great land, Hyrule.
When the time had come for young Daphnes to take the throne, he knew that he was prepared. He ruled the land with reason and fairness to all races of Hyrule.
Far away, in another kingdom, lived a young woman. Her mother and father were not kings or queens, nor was she a princess. She was wise of the ways of the sea, for she lived on the coast of her great land. She knew the patterns of the tides and could tell when a squall was about to hit. She could decipher maps and read compasses. She knew well how to sail a boat, for her father was a fisherman and often took her with him on his excursions when she was a child.
Rumilla sought adventure. She left her home by the sea, and decided to explore other lands. Her parents had both passed away, and her father’s fishing boat was left to her. Though it was small in size, it was quick in speed.
She explored many great lands and met many fascinating people. Rumilla’s fortune had increased greatly once she began to hunt treasure. She eventually decided to get a larger sailing vessel and to find herself a crew to help maintain it.

Please try hard to capitalize on my advice, so the quality of your fic can improve. I would suggest reading some of the other fics here, like NSS and Blood of the Holders, to use as reference. Also, the authors of said fics can give you some good advice how to write stronger (Achitka has helped me several times).
