Chapter 1: Awakening of a Princess
Part 1
Stories are told of Princesses being held prisoner in their own castles; some were put to sleep by a sorcerer and needed a Prince to break the spell. This one isn’t a story, for this. Is real!
There is a land, it’s beautiful, and big, and it splits into four lands. Ordona, Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru. And these four provinces lie in the land of Hyrule. There are two lands in Hyrule that don’t have a province and that are protected. And those two are called, Gerudo Desert and Snowpeak Mountain.
But, Hyrule isn’t the one with a Princess who needs a Prince; the land is just past the lands of Ordona province, a secret way to another land ruled by a Princess that no one knew about. Not until the Princess of Hyrule found out when she was a child.
The Land was known has, Armon. The Kindgom isn’t like Hyrule where they pray to the three goddesses. And like every kingdom who has either a Prince or a Princess. Armon has a Princess. Her name is Akako. Her hair is a light blond but sometimes it looks darker, and her hair would always go to the end of her back.
Akako and Zelda became friends when they first met, and told her friend that when she would become ruler of Hyrule, she will make sure that there is peace in Armon as well.
Days had passed along with years, Akako grew up to be a beautiful young woman, and her father was pleased that every young man wanted her hand in marriage. But she wasn’t interested in them. But one young man came into the Kingdom in the need for food and shelter. She had always snuck into the village; there is where she met the young man, who went by the name of Haruko.
He had white blonde hair and deep blue eyes; his body was a bit tan. He was also a thief but to everyone he appeared as a young swordsman which the Princess wanted to learn the ways of a sword. He had agreed to teach her the ways of a sword, but. He asked her where he could meet her later, and she told him in the Castle.
At first he thought she was a servant or handmaiden, which he got a no. Some towns’ folk said that she is the Princess of Armon. The next ruler of the kingdom, he then felt slightly nervous due to his best friend was the Prince of his own country where he had came from and done something to lose his best friend where as he didn’t want to lose his friendship with the Princess. Eventually he had met up with her but as the days passed, she was falling in love with him, as he was with her. Finally her father wanted them to marry so Akako would have someone to love.
Haruko was just has happy as she was, but on the day of there wedding. He had found a forbidden sword that was to never to be used or touched. For the sword dangerous. He didn’t know anything about the sword; the Princess had only told him to never touch it. But he didn’t listen to the words or his heart which was begging him not to touch the sword. But when he pulled the sword out, he changed. Everything about him had changed. He destroyed nearly every Village in Armon there was, only half of Eaton was left.
Soon everything was destroyed except the Kingdom itself, which was his next target. The townsfolk were scared and they had no choice but to pray to the gods, Akako had the feeling something was wrong, and saw and tried to warn the townsfolk that parying to the Gods won’t help them. The blue sky turned dark all of a sudden and it started to rain along with lighting. The lighting strikes different places and one strikes a tree which came down onto the tower she was in, piece’s of the castle began to fall and at the same time one of the stone blocks strikes the Princess in the head.
Haruko finally came to his sense and saw what he had done; he knew he couldn’t show his face around Armon again, he left the kingdom of Armon never to return again. And vowed that he wouldn’t come back!
Akako was placed in a deep sleep for ten years she was only at the age of 16 when all of that had happened. After she was placed in a sleep there sorcerer Aki, put the same spell over the entire Kingdom. Including himself, he had told those that everyone in the Kingdom will not wake up until the ten years are up and when she awakens. Even today the Princess sleeps along with her Kingdom. No one has able to enter the kingdom at all.
Between those years, Zelda the Princess of Hyrule had a terrible time with her Kingdom covered in Twilight. Link the young swordsman from Ordon came and saved Hyrule with the Twili Midna and finding out she was the Twilight Princess. She came and left, and breaking the Twilight Mirror.
Ganondorf was still alive and was working with an old friend of his. Dorjan a sorcerer and an evil man, and all he wants is Armon. And in order to have that, he needs the Princess awake so he can take control over the kingdom.
Now it was the day that the Princess would awaken from her long sleep. Voices were being heard which woke up the Princess. The voices kept repeating, “Princess, princess, Princess, princess” over and over again.
She opened her eyes, with no memories of who she is, or of her Kingdom or what happened to her, before she was put in a sleep she was moved to a Temple in Eaton Village saying it was only place to protect the princess. She sat up and said “Who…who am I?” she pondered, “You’re the Princess of Armon. Princess Akako.” Exclaimed an old man, she looked at him confused “Akako…? Armon…?” she wondered to herself, “You mean I’m a princess?” She questioned, “Yes” he said, she slid her legs over to the side of the bed wondering how she got there.
She then asked, “How did I get here?” the man went silent, “Well? How did I get here?” she asked him again, “A young man…named Haruko…..brought you here…” he eventually said to her, “Haruko….? She said, “Who is this Haruko?” she questioned, “I’m afraid that you won’t be able to meet Haruko…” he told her, “He was…he was…..he was a Great Hero….” She looked at him confused, “Was? What do you mean was?” she inquired, “No more questions young Princess.” He wanted to explain what had happened to Haruko, but there was no way he could do it.

In Hyrule, Zelda knew that Akako had awakened from her long slumber she was standing outside the thrown room looking out past Orodna Province looking towards Armon. Ever since she met her, they had been friends for a long time. She use to always sneak out to Armon to play with Akako. Sometimes she got caught. “Today’s the day. The day that she awakens from her long slumber….thanks to him…..” she whispered to herself.
Link was on the Great Hylian Bridge looking down at Lake Hylia in Lanayaru, “So today’s the day… Zelda’s childhood friend awakens from her slumber…” he pondered to himself, “I wonder why Haruko, turned against her?” He whispered to no one really, he was so use to having Midna hiding in his shadow, but no more. She’s in the Twilight Realm. He got up and picked up the Master Sword and Hylian Shield and walked over to his Horse Epona. He got on his horse and rode off through Lanayru.

Princess Akako was walking through Eaton Village even after 10 years; they’re still trying to fix up the village. “This village is really beautiful and peaceful.” She stated, and then a certain part of the village caught her eye. It appeared to be a sword, but as she reached out to touch it a voice yelled at her, “Don’t touch that sword! That sword is to not to be touched at all.”
She turned about and looks at who was talking to her, “I’m sorry. I didn’t know I was just wonder what this sword was doing here.” She told the young man. “The reason that sword is here….is cause of the Great Hero, Haruko.” He explained, “What did he do to this village?” she questioned, the young man was silent for a few minutes before responding, “He destroyed half of the Village.”
“Oh my…” she gasps, “I’m sorry, but I have to leave. I’m sorry if I even tried to touch the sword.” She exclaimed, the young man smiles at the princess as she leaves, “Akako….you haven’t changed….I’m sorry…..for betraying you….and…not showing up on our wedding……” And with that he disappears.
- - -
Elsewhere in another part of Armon was a dark Castle and a Dark man. His name is….Dorjan, “Dorjan, it seems that I have some good news old friend,” said the tall Dark man, “What is it?” he asked, he wasn’t in the mood to play child games, “It seems that someone said that the Princess Akako had awaken from her slumber.” The man said, “Oh so now, I can continue trying to Rule her land Armon. Then I will give you the Land of Hyrule is that correct…Ganondorf?” He just smiled wickedly “Yes that is correct” he informed, “You might want to watch it Ganondorf, it seems that Link is already going to the Village Eaton to greet Akako!” Both of them looked up and saw a shadow of Link.
Dorjan leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees, “I do hope you have a plan of some sort of getting me the Princess.” He inquired
While Link was getting ready to greet Zelda’s childhood friend, Akako. Dorjan, Gonondorf, and Dark link was planning on sending the wrong Link to her. “So that’s what we’ll do right now send out, Keitha to take care of the Princess and then Dark Link will act like he’s the real Link.” He inquired, “That won’t be a problem,” Dark Link respond
- - -
“It must be getting late or something….uh…?” she wondered to herself, “Are you Princess Akako?” Said a tall dark man in black. “Y-yes I am, Princess Akako. May I ask who you are?” “I am Link, Hero Chosen by the gods. You’re a childhood friend of the Princess Zelda. I’m here to bring you to Hyrule.” Said Dark Link with a wicked smile on his face. “Princess Zelda…?” she questioned, even more confused than ever. “If you come with me, I’ll take you straight to her!” he stated holding out his hand for hers, “Why didn’t she just come with you in the first place…?” she asked backing away from him.
“Look if you don’t come with me, I’ll kill you!” he exclaimed pulling out his version of the Master Sword. Just about when he’s about to strike her, a helix sword came out of no where striking, Dark Link’s Master Sword out of his hand. “What the, who did that?” Yelled Dark Link, no one answered. Someone finally came out of the shadows but he didn’t say a word, the Princess was shocked to see who it was and that both Dark Link and this young man looks almost the same…..except his eyes…
Finally he spoke, “I know what you’re here for, Dark Link. You can just leave! And tell both, Dorjan and Ganondorf that the Princess of Armon isn’t coming with you today or ever!” he yelled to Dark Link, he was furious with the man. “So what? Just wait, I’ll get my hands on the Princess of Armon.” he called out grabbing his sword and riding off. “Are you alright your Highness?” asked the tall man. She turned to look at him and asked him, “What is your name?” He was silent for a few seconds before he said, “My name…isn’t important for now.” “Well, I have to call you something, I don’t want to keeping saying hey, hey, hey, all the time.” She stated.
He looked up into the sky then looked back at her, and said “You can call me Oni, I guess.” Fierce Deity turned to look at the Princess, she had a confuse look on her face. “What? I told you my name. Do you want to stay here or leave?” he just questioned, he looked at her again and she was still confused “Oni? Ok….”
- - -
Back at Dorjan’s Castle.
“What?” Dorjan was furious with Dark Link. “What do you mean you didn’t get to bring the Princess here, Dark Link?” he yelled, “I’ll give you one more chance, Dark Link! Next time you fail to bring Akako here, I’ll send you to hell! Do I make myself clear?!” he yelled at him some more, “It wasn’t my fault Dorjan, the Fierce Deity came out of nowhere attacking me and protecting, the Princess.” He said the word Fierce Deity, caught Dorjan’s attention. “Did you just say…the Fierce Deity, was protecting the Princess?” he asks him, Dark Link just stands there and nods his head. “Hmmmm I believe I have an idea with him!” “Keitha! Come here I have a job for you!” He yelled for Keitha to come forth, one of his best female warriors. “Yes Dorjan, sir what is it that you desire the most sir?” she asked, “I want you to bring the Princess here…her name is……Princess Akako!” He told her his most wicked plans and what he wants with the Princess. While, Deity and the Princess were on there way to Hyrule Dorjan, Ganondorf, Dark Link, and Keitha were discussing a plan to get the Princess.
- - -
When they got to Hyrule Castle, there were no greeters to greet them. No town folks, no Royal Guards, no children, no cats and no Gorons running the shop. He didn’t say a word, he must have known that something wasn’t right; he was looking around when he was a figure walking towards them, and it was a female’s body. “Well if it isn’t Oni and the Princess of Armon.” She said, Fierce Deity dismounted his horse and puts a cape around the Princess and told her “Stay down and use this knife to defend yourself.” he gave her the knife and pulled out his helix sword and prepares for a fight for the Princess.
-- -
Elsewhere, in the distance Dark Link, watches the fight waiting for Deity to drop his guard on the Princess, so he can take her to Dorjan. In order for him to take over Armon, he needs the Princess alive so he can keep her prisoner. But, he knew what would happen if he fails again, Dorjan would kill him. But, he also remembers the word from his mouth, “Next time you fail to bring Akako here, I’ll send you to hell! Do I make myself clear?!” He remembers what he had said to him. He knew he had to bring Akako to him or else.
Akako was sitting there on Deity’s horse watching the fight between Keitha and him, but felt useless, all she had on her was a knife to defend herself. Keitha was much more skilled than him. He was taking damage fast. With Keitha using two swords it was like two against one. She used her swords and was able to knock his, helix sword out of his hand and out of his reach.
“If I was you, I would surrender! You have no choice demon, your defense-less.” She said holding her sword up to his neck. He just laid there still with his serious look on his face, “Surrender to a woman? I’d rather die!” he stated, she smirked she found that rather amusing. “Die? I can range that for you just as simple as quick!” the princess knew he was in trouble, without his sword he’s defense-less, “I must find his sword, or he’ll die…” she thought to herself she then found it with the blade in the ground near her. She ran over to it and picked it up as best as she could and swing it around then let it go hoping the hilt would face him when he grabs it.
“Oni” she yelled out, he saw his sword flying right to him but waited until the hilt was facing him to grab it, as soon as he saw the hilt facing him he reached out and grabbed his sword and stabbed Keitha in her chest. “How……..dare you….stab a……woman…in her….chest…” she said, he then stood up and stood there looking at her, not saying a word. She soon fell to the ground dead, Deity turned around to find the princess in the arms of Dark Link one arm around her waist with his sword in his hand and the other was holding an arrow that the point was against her neck. “Take one step and the princess gets it!” He didn’t more or say a word, and Dark Link took that as a go on sign.
The Princess was shock that he was just going to stand there while Dark Link took her away! He smirks and grabbed her by the arm and dragged her away with him. “Where are you taking me?” he answered her but kept dragging her, “I’m taking you to, Dorjan.” He stopped and turned to her, "And your friend, Oni. Won’t be able to save you this time!” she started to struggle against him, “He’s not my friend, he’s…..my guardian….I guess…” her voice trailed off, she wasn’t sure. “And let me go!” she cried out, Dark Link turned around and smacked her in the face, “Shut up!” he yelled at her, Deity knew right then and there that Dark Link’s guard was down! He jumped from where he was at Dark Link trying to strike him but, he drew his sword out fast!
“Oni….” She cried out, he turned to her, “Princess find a safe place fast!” he yelled out to her, she slowly nodded her head and left so he can deal with Dark Link. Their swords clashed against each other, they were both evenly matched. Eventually the sky was turning dark it was going to rain soon. It started to lighting, then it thunder and then finally it started to rain. Deity and Dark Link continued to fight even in the rain. She hid under a Bridge where she knew she wouldn’t get wet from the rain.
“I hope he’s ok….” She thought to herself, Dark Link smirked at Deity, “What’s wrong Deity? Worried about the princess?” he said nothing but they kept fighting more, finally Dark Link got up higher. “It seems that I have the higher ground than you, Deity!” As he disappears, he says, “Don’t worry, once I find the Princess I’ll take real good care of her!” he knew that she was somewhere either in Faron. He had to find her before Dark Link does! He got on his horse and raced through Faron there wasn’t much of a hiding place since the entire Province isn’t big. The Princess sat on a wooden pillar that was part of the bridge. It was pretty much cold but, at least she wasn’t getting wet.
Soon she heard horse’s hooves above her, she jumped a bit but stayed quiet she thought it was Dark Link. Then she heard Deity’s voice calling out to her, she stood up from where she was and walked out from where she was, “Oni…” he turned to her, and turned his horse around and had it walk around the bridge to where the small creek was where she was standing, he got off his horse and grabbed a blanket and ran over to where she was and put it around her to keep her from getting wet. The princess cheeks lightly turned pink, but, he didn’t see it. He led her over to his horse and helped her on his horse then got on behind her, he steered his horse from the small creek and began to go south to Hyrule Castle again.
Deity got to the bridge that leads to Castle town South Road; he kept going forward to the Castle town Central Square. Everyone on the south road stopped what they were doing when they saw a horse, when they saw him, some of them ran to their homes even some of the adults grabbed the children and pulled them inside too. Akako didn’t have any idea what was going on, she did know that it stopped raining. Deity then pulled the blanket down from her head, even some people who were running stopped and bowed down, realizing that she is a princess from the way she’s dressed. Soon he got to the Central Square where more of the townsfolk were bowing down to the princess. One of the guards came over from the arch that led to the Castle.
“I’m Oni….here with Princess Akako, as promised I brought her here to Hyrule.” He told the guard, the guard looked at her then noticed her ring that was on her left hand ring finger, that was prove that she was the Princess of Armon. He stepped back and let him go on; he kicked his horse in the sides letting it know to go. He went past a double door which both of them was wide opened. They came to a second door, which two guards came over and pushed open the doors. Now they were in or outside Hyrule Castle. The Princess looked around; it was huge outside, an arch door to her right and to her left, the Castle was huge, and it had seven towers around it.
As for Zelda, she was just leaving the throne room. She finally came out of the Castle and saw Akako. Deity got off his horse and helped the princess down. Zelda rushed over and gave the princess a hug, “It’s been so long, Akako.” She pulled back and smiled, the princess didn’t know what to do since she didn’t remember. While Zelda was kindly talking to Akako, Deity got on his horse and left without saying a word to either one. The guards didn’t stop him knowing that his mission or duty is done since he is no longer needed. When Zelda was going to ask him if he had any problems bringing Akako there, he was already gone.
- - -
“Where the hell is Dark Link? Keitha is dead, what about him? He’s not returned,” yelled Dorjan, this was one in a million times he would loose his temper. Ganondorf turned to Dorjan, “Calm down, I’m sure he’s planning something.” He said, “For his sake he had better!” he stated, Dark Link was indeed planning something, something big.
- - -
Deity on the other hand was thinking of how he could please the goddesses and get back not only his real body but also his powers which where still locked away. He also tried to think of why Dorjan would want the Princess of Armon from what he heard Armon is nothing like Hyrule with the Tri-force.
Armon doesn’t have anything like the Tri-force they don’t even pray to the goddesses there because of the Princesses ancestors had done something to displease them long ago and told them not to except them to listen to the prays from their descendents and from the townsfolks as well.
To be continued…

Dorjan leaned forward resting his elbows on his knees, “I do hope you have a plan of some sort of getting me the Princess.” He inquired
While Link was getting ready to greet Zelda’s childhood friend, Akako. Dorjan, Gonondorf, and Dark link was planning on sending the wrong Link to her. “So that’s what we’ll do right now send out, Keitha to take care of the Princess and then Dark Link will act like he’s the real Link.” He inquired, “That won’t be a problem,” Dark Link respond

Ok….”
