The Lost Prophecy

Year7000. Now about two thousand years after the events known as the adventure of the windwaker Hyrule is at peace. Its people have moved away from all the islands above old Hyrule. The Hylians hade long since moved to the north. Fish no longer dwelled in that sea. It was said that even ghosts did not dare to haunt these waters. The reason? The continent of old Hyrule was steadily decaying. To the inhabitants of the near-by islands earthquakes were not uncommon. No one knew what had caused the collapse. They were only told that they would have to leave and go to the north. Only two people knew the true cause for the constant raging storms and the decaying islands. Link Hero of the Winds and the pirate Tetra hade witnessed the start of their country’s demise. They told no one and took their secret to the grave. Now only about 6 islands remained. Though the continent was lost its history remained and it’s people as well. All it’s legends, it’s secrets, it’s achievements and it’s beauty were remembered, be it told with as little truth as a child’s bedtime story or be it an archived speech of the first king; word for word what hade been once said, it was all there. Many of it’s legends now myths, many of it’s secrets now common knowledge. Yet still many things lay undiscovered beneath the waves. One of which can change the past, present and future.
