Chapter 1: somethings strange about today
Oliver,a thin(blond hair, green clothed, boy)got out of bed and yawned. He looked out the window to see what the people in his town were doing. Clocktown was sure to be busy with preparations for the carnaval of time. It came but once a year so people always wanted it to be special each year. He always loved waking up three days before the carnaval and see people hurrying about, it was amuzing to see them so frustrated if things didn't go exactly as planned.
But this particular morning was different, and not just a little difference, a major one! There were no tourists in the streets taking photograghs of everything that caught their eye! After a few seconds, Oliver decided that they were late or somewhere else for once. No big deal. He looked to the left of the window and saw the twin jugglers. They were so identacle that only their shirts would tell them apart. Aniro, the one on the right, wore a blue shirt and sniro, the on the left, wore red shirt. As their title shows they are indeed twin jugglers.
After getting bord of watching blue ball after red ball after yellow ball fly into the air, Oliver made his way down stairs. The counter top was very clean, shiny almost. Behind it was his widowed mother. Oliver's mother ,Anju, was usualy very cheerful around the carnaval ,but today she seemed worried and nervous. This got him mind boggled even more than the lack of tourists in the east gate. Oliver stepped in front of the wooden counter, just barelly being able to see over it.
“M-Mother, whats going on?”He worked up the courage to say.
She looked at him with half a smile, then just shook her head. Oliver stood there for a while, unsure of what to do. Finally the tight-waring, job-loving, postman barged through the door. Oliver moved as the odd character handed a letter to his red-headed mother. Suddenly she gasped realising whom the letter was from. Oliver stood on his tippy toes trying to see who it was from but the letter was pulled away
