among_the_dead_1027.jpgAmong the Dead1300 viewsHaven't been around here in a long minute, so here's my latest Zelda piece, Among the Dead. I wanted to do a piece with Link in the graveyard with ghosts. This was the image I had in mind from the cemetery section of Zelda 1. This took me quite a while to draw at first, I couldn't quite get the pose for link right, so I kept trying different poses when I had free time. Once I finally had the pencils, it took me about a week / week and a half, on and off to Photoshop. The ghosts where somewhat difficult at first becuase the pencils for them were very unsubstantial, I pretty much had to paint them in with Photoshop. Anyway, hope you guys like it.Shady Gambino

I'm sorry about the mountains... suckiness. They're really hard to do, so i just drew random squiggles and blended them.

I managed to find a screencap with Ezlo saying all this Hylian letters, and I translated them. It means "chiisaku nare" which is Japanese for "become small". That's why I named this drawing like that. I hope you like it. I personally wanted this to be all about perspective and the magical lighting coming out of the stump, and I think I managed to make it really well.Malu CLBS

Anyways, Green's in the middle, since he's the main guy, so he's got the football.
Blue, as over-confident as he is, wants the football so he's peeved and trying to get it.
Vio's concentrating, since he's the calm one, so he's choosing the right moment to take it away from Green.
Shadow's been put in as goalie 'cause he's a 'shadow' and wouldn't want to be out in the open field too much.
Red's decided to be a cheerleader. Seems typical of him. I think of him like Momiji from Fruits Basket. Momiji wore girls uniform to school 'cause he said he likes it so I thought Red would like to wear a girls uniform too ^ ^ That's why Shadow's kinda confuzzled.
Now I look at it, they're not really being a very good team o.o; I guess they need to work a bit more on Team-work..
