I hate finals. I was going for a darker look and wanted to practice my shadows a bit. I was going to add a cooler background, but just got tired of working on this pic. I was experimenting with backgrounds. I really like how the evil army turned out. This is also when I first started experimenting with the blur tool and special effect like the glowing eye.

I did the whole thing on the computer using a mouse (drawing included), and used cell-shading on the dress. I haven't done that much detail on one photoshop before. I also added shine to her hair and all the magic effects using the blur and smudge tool. Now that I've learned about overlays and lighting effects, I feel like I can make this pic SO much better, but I still love it.
