MD2 Quiver
(sorry about the heigth of this pic)

This is a modded screenshot of the new ammunition model for the bow. It's pretty low-poly because ammo tends to be prevalent across levels, which means that it will be appearing a lot. hence, to keep it from swamping low end machines, I've been force to make it extremely simple. Some stats:

Number of Vertices: 35
Number of Skin Vertices: 35
Number of Faces: 56
Number of Frames: 1
Average Size of Triangles: 180

Build Time: 30 minutes, plus a few skin revisons

as you can see, to emulate the shafts while keeping the vertex count down, i simple pulled all the arrow tips into a single point, which was sutibly far from the visible shafts to be accepted by the hurried eye, or even the casual eye.

i guess no one likes 3d stuff, or even archery ... Oh well i thought that was a great idea combining the arrow's tips

nope. not low-poly, anyhow. I'm not surprised though, my work has gotten shafted plenty in it's time. (gah! pun! no!)

huh. i need to post an updated pic of this, i upped the polycount because i decided that this item was used frugally enough to allow it.
